Examples of art projects: mixed media food sculptures with delicious treats from Tres Carnales, abstract self-portraits inspired by Cris Cran, collages, travel watercolour postcards, monoprints and blockprints inspired by music!

1) French Art and Language Course: 5:00 - 6:30pm on 5 Wednesdays (Jan 27, Feb 3, Feb 10,  Feb 17 and Feb 24)
2) Spanish Art and Language Course: 7:00 - 8:30pm on 5 Wednesdays (Jan 27, Feb 3, Feb 10, Feb 17 and Feb 24)
3) Italian Art and Language Course: 1:00 to 2:30pm on 5 Sundays (Jan 31, Feb 7, Feb 14, Feb 21, Feb 28)
 

Price: $280 for 5 sessions of 90 minutes (10% off for students and seniors, additional 10% off if you sign up by midnight January 15, 2016)

Each course includes:

1. All art supplies and gallery visits in Art Gallery of Alberta exhibitions.
2. Customized curriculum based on group needs (email survey before course begins)
3. High-quality materials created by your instructor (no textbook)
4. Online course package with lifetime access on Versal
5. Individual feedback, resources, and coaching between lessons

This unique workshop includes gallery admission, art materials and take-away resources! The level for each language is beginner/low intermediate. The 2 hour workshops will be divided into 1/3 language instruction, 1/3 gallery visit, and 1/3 art project. The topics/themes for each workshop will be determined with a survey upon registration.
